ACT is proud to announce that Louise Williams, operations director at ACT, and Cariann Emanuelli, a Level 5 management apprentice, have both been added to this year’s 35 Under 35 professional women in 2017.
The WalesOnline 35 under 35 list brings together 70 businessmen and women, 35 from each gender, to highlight the exceptional young talent Wales has to offer.
Louise Williams, operations director at ACT, 34
Louise became a director at ACT Training in 2010 at the age of 28. Over the last seven years, Louise’s efficiency and commitment has ensured that ACT has grown into the large award-winning company it is today.
She looks after People & Development, Finance and Purchasing and ensures all 360 employees and 15 sites across South and Mid Wales are running at maximum efficiency. In doing so, Louise and her teams effectively support the delivery team at ACT and has contributed to various accolades including Sunday Times Fast Track 100, Sunday Times Best Companies and Investors in People Gold Award.
Cariann Emanuelli, Wize Virtual Admin, 28.
Cariann Emanuelli finished university with a first class degree in sport and exercise science and an ambition to be her own boss. She plunged into the entrepreneurial world with a new fitness start-up Step 2 It, teaching fitness classes with a difference and running summer schools and charity dance projects.
At the same time, her mother was setting up a business process consulting, Wize Consulting. Cariann thought she could enhance the business by introducing a virtual administration service which she would go on to manage.
The virtual administration facet of the business has been so successful that it has overtaken the consulting, changing the name of the business to Wize Virtual Admin. This is the third year that Cariann has been managing director of the company based at Caerphilly Business Park and has seen the company move from strength to strength.
